Where Nature Heals the Soul

About Jen

Although I've called Washington home for over twenty years, my roots trace back to a small town in Ohio. From an early age, I felt a deep connection to the more-than-human world. My favorite pastime as a child was what I lovingly called “creekin’”—wandering down to the creek to explore, investigate, and befriend whatever creatures I found. I’d come home with an assortment of companions: crayfish, frogs, the occasional rodent, and once even a chicken. I adored every one of them. Being outdoors—lifting rocks to discover who lived underneath—felt like discovering magic.

That sense of wonder has stayed with me into adulthood. Like so many others, I’ve turned to the forest for solace, grounding, and healing. Over the years, nature has held and restored me in ways that shaped my life.

When I discovered forest therapy, something clicked. I realized I could deepen my relationship with the natural world in a more intentional, heart-centered way—one that went beyond simply spending time outdoors. Forest therapy has been truly life-changing for me, and it’s an experience I’m grateful to share with others. My hope is that it may open something meaningful for you as well.

As a certified guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT), I create spaces for participants to slow down, listen, and reconnect—both with nature and with themselves. Allow the peace of the forest to support your growth through experiences crafted with intention and care.
